Softly Kill Me
< ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
I'll kiss your name, shrug off my goodbyes
Washing my tears away from a potion
I can't remember across the seaside
You smiled at the moon neath the moonlight
I take a step closer to heaven
I'm seized by man untamed by our hearts
I lay you down on this bed of roses
The light from your eyes gives many a heart

Chorus:
I whisper softly
I whisper softly
You softly kill me
Oh la-da-da da da da

The flood comes in, arrives a crying flower
The sky's gone dim but still it's morning my way
Your love runs dry like a valley of the mountains
There's soil in your eye but still there's nothing to see
I scream for you, your ears are closed to my whispers
I'm guilty of walking but still the rain hits my skin
My blood runs stale as my heartbeat skips an answer
The key's in my hand, but still I see the way out

Chorus:
I whisper softly
And you whisper softly
Hey, you softly kill me
Oh la-da-da da da da
Oh la-de-da

My buried heart
My buried heart
My buried heart, yeah
My buried heart
My buried heart
My buried heart, yeah

I think I love you
I think I love you
I think I love you, I do
But I think I love you
But I think I love you
But I think I love you, I do, I do, I do

Cause you look at me
Cause you look at me
Cause you look at me, yeah
You look at me
You look at me
You look at me, yeah
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh, yeah, da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da, da
Oh-oh
This is another Last Wish song that is extremely hard to decipher.  It seems no-one else has in the past, because I couldn't find lyrics to it anywhere.  Justin's vocals are sung in a low key, and are blurred by the bad quality and the fact that he was likely recorded on the same frequency as the rest of the music.  I think I got most of the words right, however, and if you have any suggestions, email me at thesongwriter@gmail.com .  It's a very wonderful and sexy love song, and the title reminds me of Killing Me Softly With Your Song by Roberta Flack.
